Alex was selected as Utah's 2007 Outstanding Young Volunteer.
Alex Bowcut is always telling stories. But, unlike other twelve
year olds, he doesn't get in trouble for it. In fact, he usually gets paid for it!
He is a nationally recognized youth storyteller who has been telling for over half of his life. He loves being in
front of a live audience and making them laugh! Most of his stories are funny and upbeat. He currently has two storytelling
CDs available: Just Words is his most recent CD, based mostly on his adventures as a young boy.
He is the recipient of the 2007 Outstanding Young Volunteer Award for the state of Utah. He produced his first CD, Remember,
in memory of his Grandma Hall who passed away in 2005 from cancer. All of the proceeds from the sales of the CD were donated
to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation to research a cure for cancer. All of the proceeds from Just Words will also be donated
to Huntsman in honor of his grandma.
